First Minister of Wales Mark Drakeford works on the train ready to meet world leaders at UN climate conference, COP26, later today.

The First Minister embarked on the seven hour journey from Cardiff Central this morning.
He said: “By working together and taking collective action we can share a healthy and fair planet. In Glasgow, we will show that Wales is ready to play its part. We may be a smaller country but we punch above our weight – we are a world leader in recycling and we were the first country in the world to declare a climate emergency.
“Wales powered the industrial revolution but now we want a future powered by renewable energy. We are the only country to enshrine a Future Generations Act in law, meaning any decisions made by government today must consider the impact they will have on our children and grandchildren, and all generations that follow. There’s still much more to do, which is why I am looking forward to learning from others at COP26.”
